The Role

At Bloomberg Television, a sophisticated 24-hour Business and Financial News channel, you will be operating in a multi-task environment on a variety of our news channels broadcasting from London. Our dynamic and enterprising team is currently offering opportunities for you to join us in a fast paced, hi-tech environment.

The Operator¿s technical responsibilities vary from day to day but the main aspects of the role include:
- Vision / Audio / Lighting Mixing
- Robotic Camera Operation
- Output Quality Control
- Operation of Bespoke Computer Software and new technologies
- Basic Troubleshooting
- Involvement in enhancement and development projects

Our unique multi skilled galleries and studios provide a technically advanced platform for a single operator to be responsible for complete channel output.
We offer full training to enable you to become an effective part of our development into the world¿s leading financial news channel, reaching over 200 million homes worldwide.
A second European language is not essential but would be useful. Shift patterns form an integral part of this role.

Skills needed:

- Experience/interest in Technical Broadcasting is desirable.
- Basic PC skills required.
- Live TC Broadcast experience beneficial.
- Basic technical knowledge relating to broadcast is a must.
