Regional HR Specialist, EMEA
16 months maternity cover Contract
Salary: £35K- 38K

This leading US electronics company is looking for a Training & Development Specialist EMEA to assess, design, develop and implement learning and organisational development solutions. Successful candidate will be working with the Regional HR team, responsible for partnering with local management and Corporate Learning and Development team in the identification, localization and execution of learning solutions across the EMEA region.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide a professional HR service delivering strategic and operational HR advice to a specific region/s across EMEA. To ensure the availability and retention of human resources and talent needed to achieve Company strategy, mission, goals and objectives.
Act as a Regional HR Business Partner, building relationships with managers in effective use of the recruitment, performance management, development, compensation and benefits and legal across the region in EMEA. Be the department Specialist for Learning and Development.
Provide support to managers in effective use of the performance management system, including training and coaching (e.g. appraisal workshops). Oversee that individual employee performance is documented quarterly and annually. Ensure new hire performance is appraised using a probationary period assessment.
Manage a professional and cost-effective recruitment and selection process, partnering with line managers to fill every vacancy with top performers. Participate in the interview and selection process as appropriate; ensure references are taken up for new employees.
Train management and employees on various HR initiatives such as interviewing, performance and coaching. Plan and conduct new employee orientation.
Responsibility to drive and manage the Learning & Development projects for EMEA, equipping other Regional HR Business Partners to manage through their region/s.
Essential skills:
Fluency in Business English (another European language is advantageous)
Solid general HR experience
Training and Development experience
Computer literate and proficient experience of Oracle databases would be an advantage
Experience of working for a US company would be beneficial
Experience covering EMEA would be advantage but not essential
CIPD qualified
