Senior Buyer (Engineering/Manufacturing)

Our client, an International technology supplier organisation, is seeking to appoint a Senior Buyer to develop their supplier base, with key suppliers worldwide.

You will have worked for a global corporation and will manage purchasing activities related to a variety of commodity groups.
It is essential that candidates have substantial and strategic purchasing experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment and experience of MRP systems.
Key negotiation skills and contracts experience is also essential.
CIPS or a business/engineering degree is an advantage.
You be leading supply chain related projects as well as managing and developing the organisation supplier base.
You will ensure supply continuity, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will participate in new product development projects, managing any engineering changes with suppliers.
You will be a competent user of MS tools, an excellent communicator and a real team player.
