The Role

Bloomberg is seeking an experienced Private Equity Analyst to expand its Private Equity and Venture Capital product offerings. The analyst will be responsible for pioneering the expansion of data coverage and analysis in the global private equity market, building relationships with private equity firms and M&A advisors, developing a team of global private equity analysts, and working closely with Sales, Technology, and the Business to contribute to the future development of the product. Experience in the Private Equity and Venture Capital markets is essential.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. BS/BA in Finance preferred.
- MBA and/or CFA designation preferred.
- 5 or more years experience in M&A, Private Equity, and/or Venture Capital markets.
- 2 or more years of management/leadership experience.
- Established network of Private Equity professionals and desire to build additional relationships.
- Excellent written, communication, presentation and networking skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Effective research and analysis skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg Professional Service a plus.
- Foreign language skills a plus.
