Summer internships for MBA and other business-focused graduate students are 10-12 weeks long and are offered in a range of functions across the company. For internships, we hire first into job families and then work with successful candidates to find project groups that match their skills and interests.
The role: Finance Graduate Intern
The name Google came from ?googol,? a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team. Whether designing processes to support our global businesses, providing forward-thinking analysis or managing our day-to-day balance sheets, our seasoned accounting and finance pros create innovative solutions to a googol of challenges and keep our business on track.
Responsibilities:
* Analyze financials for new product initiatives.
* Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Operations and Finance teams to implement financial processes and systems.
* Develop and refine our worldwide budgeting and planning processes in partnership with team leaders.
* Analyze key performance and operational as well as financial metrics (e.g., revenue, productivity metrics, other key business drivers).
* Participate in discussions and develop analytical models to support company initiatives and/or financial decisions.
Minimum Qualifications:
* 4 year undergrad degree, currently obtaining a graduate degree
* 2 years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* 4 years of experience
