Strategy and Business Development Graduate Intern - Mountain View

For internships, we hire first into job families and then work with successful candidates to find project groups that match their skills and interests.
The role: Strategy and Business Development Graduate Intern

Our Strategy and Business Development teams work on game-changing ideas, from technological experiments to the expansion of existing businesses into new territories. We?re a team of deal-makers, technologists, entrepreneurs and leaders with an eye for what?s next, working across Google to develop products and ideas that revolutionize the way people connect with information -- and forging new partnerships that can better serve our clients.
New Business Development Intern Responsibilities
* Co-lead exploratory discussions with potential partners.
* Evaluate opportunities.
* Present recommendations to the management team.
* Negotiate and close business deals.
Strategy Intern Responsibilities:
* Analyze areas of opportunity to acquire additional local content.
* Work on deals to include such information as restaurant review snippets within Google Maps.
* Analyze aerial imagery providers and recommend top priority partners.
* Define strategic channel partnership models to accelerate content acquisition in the various industries and sectors.
Minimum Qualifications:
* 4 year undergrad degree, currently obtaining a graduate degree
* 2 years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* 4 years of experience
