The Role

Bloomberg is searching for enterprising individuals to join our Data Solutions Sales group. Data Solutions Sales at Bloomberg is growing at a rapid pace and we are looking for swift and seasoned professionals to help us expand our global sales operations. The person in this role, will be responsible for the direct sales of static and real-time financial data products.

The candidate will be managing accounts and providing solutions, both organization-wide and to individual user groups and applications, within front, middle, and back office clients. The candidate will use their strong interpersonal skills in this client facing role.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated success conducting financial business-to-business sales
- Understanding of operational and technical infrastructure of financial firms
- Knowledge of data licensing, warehousing and centralization
- Proven ability to identify new prospects and build lasting relationships
- Possession of existing financial contacts is advantageous
- Skills to provide maintenance and develop new sales within existing clients
- Aptitude to excel in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Fluency in Japanese, Italian, German, Spanish and/or French a plus
