The Role

The successful candidate will provide advice and support on strategic issues relevant to web scraping technology selection and implementation. Responsibilities will include partnering with business heads, data analysts and technologists to assist with the development of strategic cross-functional business plans, identify deliverables, coordinate and execute implementation projects, and report results.

The role will also focus on applying text analysis, taxonomy and data mining principles to both supplier research and internal web crawling technology decisions.

Qualifications

- 5 or more years of web scraping/web crawling technology implementation or consulting experience
- Strong technology implementation skills, including establishing project scope and project scheduling
- Experience with taxonomy standards and the proven ability to apply to large scale collections of data
- Solid analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- General knowledge of the Financial Services industry
- Experience gathering and documenting client requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering preferred.
