The Product

Bloomberg is creating a new web-based information product - BGOV, that will report on, analyze and quantify the impact of government actions on business and industry. It will bring the same unparalleled level of fact-based, objective reporting and analysis to policymaking as it has provided to the financial community for the past 27 years.

The Event

Bloomberg is seeking candidates for several news and media roles in Washington, D.C. for our new government information product. We encourage you to apply to this posting for consideration to attend our hiring event. This is an RSVP event only. Candidates who are accepted into the event will be notified on September 7th, 2010 with a confirmation and further event details. Attendees must be available to attend the entire day's events.

Qualifications:

-Bachelors degree required, Graduate degree preferred
-Minimum 3 years of industry experience
-Ability to work in Washington, D.C.
-Experience covering the Defense, Energy, Finance, Labor, Health, Taxation, Technology or Transportation industries
