The Bloomberg Equities Group is looking for a highly motivated and driven equity analyst to cover the German-speaking region. This team is responsible for researching and analyzing financial data for Bloomberg’s Fundamentals and Earnings Estimates products.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Fundamentals product offers customers As Reported and Normalized financials, key analytical ratios, industry specific data points, and Business Line and Geographic Segmentation data. The Earnings Estimates product is comprised of estimates for popular metrics such as Revenue, EPS and Net Income, contributed by hundreds of brokers and research houses.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The analyst will be expected to ensure the consistency, quality and product delivery of a portfolio of companies across the various products. Additionally, they must deliver excellent customer service to Bloomberg customers and across internal departments. The candidate should be dedicated and a self-starter with a passion for the financial markets that with extensive training and development will help drive the product forward.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Qualifications&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
- 2+ years of finance/accounting experience required&lt;br /&gt;
- Extensive financial statement knowledge and industry sector specialization a plus&lt;br /&gt;
- Ability to interact with clients within the financial industry&lt;br /&gt;
- Commitment to enhancing and developing products&lt;br /&gt;
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously&lt;br /&gt;
- Effective research and analysis skills&lt;br /&gt;
- MBA, Masters in Financial Engineering, Masters in Financial Mathematics, or CFA preferred&lt;br /&gt;

Job Requirements &amp; Responsibilities:&lt;br /&gt;
•	Maintain a database of keywords, categories and campaigns. Lead the ongoing development and optimization of the keyword portfolio &lt;br /&gt;
•	Take responsibility for key paid search business performance metrics; revenue per visitor, conversion rates, overall revenue, and cost per click &lt;br /&gt;
•	Optimize performance of the keyword portfolio by testing new creative, landing pages. Key goals are to maximize revenue while maintaining required ROI &lt;br /&gt;
•	Design and execute data analysis to enable decision making associated with paid search initiatives &lt;br /&gt;
•	Interact extensively with a wide variety of individuals throughout the organization including Business Team, Product Team, Engineering Team and Senior Management in both the US and EU.&lt;br /&gt;
Qualifications &amp; Experience: &lt;br /&gt;
•	BA/BS in Business, Economics or other Quantitative and Analytical Major&lt;br /&gt;
•	Colloquial fluency in German required.  Proficiency in French a plus.&lt;br /&gt;
•	High level of comfort with data-oriented, quantitative decision making &lt;br /&gt;
•	Exceptional quantitative skills&lt;br /&gt;
•	Excellent communication skills &lt;br /&gt;
•	Experience and comfort in working in a team environment &lt;br /&gt;
•	Positive attitude and enthusiasm for getting results &lt;br /&gt;
