An exciting opportunity for a Business Development and CommunicationManager in Customer Services has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse.

It is based in Airbus civil aircraft. You will join Airbus Customer Services, Technical Data department. Technical Data is a set of products which specifies all necessary information to operate and maintain aircraft.

You will join an empowered team and a multicultural environment.
Having direct interface with the Customer, your main mission will be to develop Services and Intellectual Properties policy for Technical Data applicable to all Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) organizations.

Ensuring overall success of the Technical Data Industrial Operations' services by coordinating with other directorates and maintening a close relationship with internal and external customers.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

A) Business Development:

Manage the Technical Data Industrial Operations services using state of the art rules and methods

- contribute to Technical Data strategy and market analysis by building business case and Risks& Opportunities related to Technical Data services.

- Set-up and manage Technical Data Services development roadmaps in accordancewith Technical Data Support & Services vision, strategy and policies.

- Lead services development projects including, as necessary, work breakdown chart/WBS, resource plan, V&V, maturity, risks gathering all main Technical Data stakeholders and external contributors: Marketing & Sales, Contract, Airbus Services, Flight Operations Support & Services...

- Ensure the success of the Technical Data Services product end to end, by consolidating Customer needs and market offer, coordinating product development, deployment and support in cooperation with customers.

- Leverage innovation initiatives to further develop the business and Boost innovation to keep product differentiation on the market

- Manage subcontractors activities

B) Customers' relationship:

- Participates to all necessary meetings, conferences or workshops with our customers to capture and consolidate their Technical Data services needs and market opportunities.


Task & accountabilities :
Within the framework of the Airbus Technical Data Support& Services, the job holder is in charge to:

- Define and drive the strategy for Technical Data Industrial Operations' services, taking into account aircraft programme evolutions, Customers' expectations, market analysis and Airbus Technical Data orientations

- Support marketing and sales by providing technical support as necessary

- Be the voice of the customer when defining, in cooperation with all Technical Data support & Services functions, the Technical Data services roadmap

- Drive a Customer-centric approach to ensure Customer loyalty, Act as the Customer voice towards internal stakeholders

C) Communication:

- Ensure regular reviews and updates activities to all Technical Data departments and other directorates involved in Technical Data services development initiatives.

- Set-up and present regular analysis about services deliverables cost, availability and quality to themanagement, finance, quality, commercial and marketing functions as necessary.

- Define, develop and maintain comprehensive communication plans to ensure information propagation on Technical Data Industrial Operations mission, products and services to Customers, CSDs, Field Services and more globally to all Airbus directorates

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Experience with advanced analytics techniques
  • Proficient programming skills in Python and Java.
  • Experience with Big Data tools.
  • Production management

  • IT tool specification
  • Ability to develop some scripts using G-Suite
  • Negotiation level in English
