Description of the job :
A vacancy for a CATIA V6 Junior Technology Expert (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the CAD/DMU Backbone team within IM Develop organization.

IM Develop organization is established to ensure Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) Support and Services as requested by Programmes, CoE and CoC. The department is the home within Airbus to lead the development, the implementation, the maintenance and the support of PLM to all Airbus programs in line with the corporate strategy.

Within the frame of its Digital Design, Manufacturing & Services (DDMS) programme, Airbus is undergoing a significant digital transformation to benefit from the latest advances in new technologies and targets a major efficiency breakthrough across the program and product lifecycle.

PLM plays a key role in this digital transformation with the deployment of new tools, which deliver digital continuity, from design to operations, in a single data model for a unified user experience, making DDMS a company-wide reality for all Airbus divisions and product lines.

As a CATIA V6 Junior Technology Expert (m/f), you will be accountable for technical consistency of specific CATIA V6 functional and technology capabilities in line with Convergence and OnePLM Platform Strategy, and you will take care and support its appropriate urbanization. You will guarantee strong technical support to different operational roles and responsible actors in case operational system issues. In the same way, you will ensure and propose relevant CATIA V6 technical solution for continuous operational improvements and supports esp. in context of DDMS, convergence PLM Toolset to future One PLM and CATIA V5 to V6 Method and Process implementation.

Task & accountabilities :
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to:

o Define, implement and manage CATIA V6 solution according to Engineering or Information Management specific needs (tool, process, method):
- apply and respect ICT standards such as STAMP, Book of IT Standards, ..., defines and recommends solution concepts, aligns solution proposals with community of corresponding experts (Architects, other PLM experts, development teams, ...) securing appropriate Urbanization, Master data reuse and convergence towards OnePLM.
- ensure the global coherence and integration into OnePLM Platform.
- contribute to a globally consistent CATIA V5-CATIA V6 approach, in line with Convergence and OnePLM Platform Strategy.

o Lead CATIA V6 solution design for specific functional evolution and operational service:
- manage technical CATIA V5 to V6 convergence- and migration principles respecting ICT Standards and standard development principles.
- propose and describe individual or standard best in class solution concepts, enabling Development-, Deployment and Project Teams on the solution implementation of specific business/IM value.
- propose applications improvement loops ensuring problems- and change requests raised by Operational Service teams are taken into account for future applications design.
- be active contributor, subject matter expert and representative within development teams according to working principles agreed (SAFe, AGILE/SCRUM, RU, GPP).
- Contribute to concept dossier and value proposals.

o Support System and/or Solution Architect Role in SAFe:
- collaborate with other SAFe Roles to identify the right Scope and Priorities for Value Stream and/or Release Train Backlog.
- collect, defines and challenges Backlog Input at Capability-, Enabler-, Feature- or User Story level.
- contribute to EPIC analysis and deep dive with concrete proposals for Enabler or Capability definition.

This role will involve some travel for business and as such, you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills :
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
o Master degree in engineering or IT field,
o 3 years minimum of professional work experience in PLM for different industrial contexts,
o Good knowledge in:
- 3D Experience Technology, esp. CATIA V6 and ENOVIA
- Legacy toolset (VPM, CATIA V4/V5)
- Project management skills is a plus
o Business acumen and industry knowledge
o First experiences relationship to software vendors and solution integrators
o Good knowledge of agile methodologies (SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban)
o Communication and team work spirit
o Negotiation level of English.
