Multilingual Technical Product Owner in Netherlands

As a result of continued rapid growth we are currently seeking a Technical Product Owner for our Customer Service Department. As Technical PO you are responsible for innovative projects to improve customer  experience and for the future development of Booking.com CS department. You are responsible for initiating change by coming up with innovative ideas. You then own the complete project cycle including initiation, research, defining scope, estimating development time, testing, implementation, monitoring and completion. You will work closely with the Customer Service management team in identifying and defining these projects to ensure their operational and technical relevance globally. You will work among other things on projects related to procedures and templates, system improvements and user friendliness of our systems. You have a solid business understanding and you are able to interpret data and to provide conclusions on how to move forward based on that data. This role requires a dynamic person with combined innovative and analytical skills, who can demonstrate ability in hands on project coordination.This role suites a highly motivated and result-focused, content driven individual with solid business understanding. In this role you will report to the Customer Service Innovation Manager and work from our office in Amsterdam. Key Responsibilities: * Gather business requirements and translate them to areas of improvement; * Proactively analyze results, current systems and processes and seek better alternatives or improvements where necessary, liaising with local (IT) teams or other departments * Function as an escalation point for operational questions and issues raised by end users, and co-ordinate further escalation and resolution where required; * Successfully manage communication and relationships with the key internal stakeholders at all levels. * Actively participate in identifying and defining projects; * Coordinate all aspects of project(s) * Conduct post-implementation assessment of projects to ensure business requirements are met; * Identify errors or changes and analyze customer and resource impact within the project; * Innovate to meet customers need.  Skills/Experience required: * Bachelor (or Master) degree in Information Management or Business Engineering; * Fluent in English both written and spoken; * Proven record of technical projects, preferably within a Customer Service environment; * Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology; * Hands-on and getting-things-done mentality; * Strong communication and influencing skills; * Strong organization and planning skills; * Strong analytical skills; * Results oriented with track record of timely, high quality achievement of deliverables; * Accurate and high attention to detail; * Capable of working independently; * Ability to take initiative and ownership;  * Innovational approach.
