Job Description

A new internship opportunity has arisen within ATR!

What we will do together:

The main mission of the Customer Technical Support team is to provide ATR aircraft operators with efficient proactive technical support to optimize their aircraft availability.

The Customer Technical Support team is a multidisciplinary team of engineers who represent the main technical professions within ATR. Through their collaboration, the study and usage of existing data, engineers capitalize on each other's knowledge and experience to produce recommendations for troubleshooting assistance and proposing optimized repair solutions to solve a given problem in the most efficient and operational way possible.

The internship will focus on the set-up of an improvement roadmap for the Customer Support Frontline, within the Customer Technical Support directorate.

The major subjects of the internship will be:

•             To review the available procedures

•             To define and harmonize the templates used to build answers to technical requests

•             To define the process of utilization of the Knowledge Database, recently introduced into the department, to speed up response time and increase value for the customers

•             To promote internally the Knowledge Database and its usage

•             To promote standardization of the way of work with the customer support centers located abroad

•             To establish a process for the backlog management

•             To define a list of indicators in order to measure ATR customer care performance

•             To promote the new list of indicators and put them in place with ATR centers

This internship is for you if

  • You are in final year (Master) or Engineering school wtih speciality in  aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering
  • You have knowledge of lean and project management
  • You are proactive and a good team player
  • You have a solid knowledge of MS Suite
  • You are fluent both french and english

Internship duration:

  • 6 months starting march 2020
