The Content Manager is responsible for the maintenance of proposal content and sales literature utilized by our Opportunity Management Team for consulting and outsourcing proposals. They work with various internal colleagues and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to make sure the content is up to date and accurate, as well as assist the broader sales team with ad-hoc requests.

The Content Manager is also responsible for the technical aspects our content management database and provides assistance with user issues and training on system functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing content review refresh cycles with SMEs
  • Ensure that content and appendix material is current and up to date
  • Coordinate email communications and strategy calls (if needed) with SMEs and domain leaders to kick off cycle review or ad-hoc reviews
  • Ensure all record meta-data in the content management database is correct and updated as needed
  • Post-proposal content submission review and processing
  • Review submitted proposals for updates to current content and/or new responses
  • Follow up with key stakeholders and SMEs as needed
  • Manage the content development process for new services with internal content contributors, and create relationships with key stakeholders and SMEs
  • Content database proposal system administration
  • Establish new users and roles
  • Train new and existing users on functionality as well as process improvements
  • Provide support and training for upgrades and testing
  • Communicate system issues/downtime and/or upgrades to users
  • Troubleshoot issues with users before escalating to the content management database
  • Manage the database relationship (billing, renewal process and quarterly meetings with account manager, etc.)
  • Monitor Content mailbox for any ad hoc questions or database issues received

Key Role Competencies Mandatory

  • Strong command of written and spoken English is a must, any additional European language is desired.
  • Able to write, edit and proofread routine correspondence, proposals and presentations. 
  • Experience with HCM Software knowledge (SAP/SuccessFactors, Workday) 
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Strong database, project and document management skills to direct large, multi-contractor proposal team efforts.
  • Desire to work in and contribute to a virtual team environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Strong commitment to corporate quality standards. 
  • Creative thinking, problem solving skills, and detail-oriented. 
  • Show initiative and proactivity and be flexible working in a changing environment with high stress and tight deadlines. 
  • Proven ability to multitask, solve problems spontaneously and rapidly, to take individual initiative with minimal supervision, and to interface and communicate with all levels of the employee workforce, including technical and non-technical employees, as well as with all levels of management.
