Language Recruitment Services (LRS) is recruiting an experienced financial controller or financial manager for one of their international clients. Reporting to Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for the Italian entity’s financial accounts and reporting.

Italian speaking Financial Controller – Main Responsibilities:

• Completion of the General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Responsible for the month-end process and Production of the P&L statements
• Collaborate with 3rd party finance partner to deliver management accounting
• Review and approve of payment runs and monthly payroll
• Responsible for accruals management
• Providing analysis of company’s performance against Budget
• Deliver financial advice and improvements solutions related to financial performance and cash flow
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations
• Coordinate monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast processes.
• Cashflow forecasting
• Review & prepare the annual statutory accounts
• Submit tax returns and liaise with external tax specialists
• Liaise with external auditors and banks if required

Financial Controller with Italian – Profile:

• Fluency in English and Italian
• Accounting or Financial qualifications (ACCA/CIMA ideally)
• Solid experience in a similar role ideally in multi-entity company
• Knowledge of Italian GAAP
• Confident communicator and adaptable
• Experience using budgeting, forecasting and reporting tools
• Attention to detail, analytical and business oriented
• Proactive and self-dependent
• Willing to travel to Italy once or twice a month
