Our growing company is looking for a Credit Controller to handle credit assessments, decisions and terms and conditions. The successful applicant will possess strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. Your work will play a major role in maximizing revenue and mitigating credit risk. The ideal candidate will be excited to collaborate with our sales and billing departments to implement an effective credit control system and resolve issues. You should have experience interacting and working with customers to ensure their needs are met and their credit fits in with the current risk portfolio. You should also understand when it's appropriate to renegotiate payment plans.
Requisiti:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Evaluating new credit requests and conducting client credit checks.Responding to client inquiriesNegotiating payment plansEnsure aging is current and the customer issues are resolved timelyCollaboration with Other departments – Finance/Sales/Account (Audit requests any other special tasks assigned by accounting team and Manager ect.)Flag BD credit to the Credit ManagerCoordinate customer credit or refunds when requiredNotify debtors by letter, email, or telephone call of upcoming or outstanding invoicesChecking and posting of receipts on daily bases to accounting systems - investigate with customers and accounting team any issues that impact client statement.Ability to work independently to accomplish team goals and objectivesEstablish and maintain regular communications with clients to facilitate periodic paymentsEffective time management skills and ability to multi-taskNetting proposal to the Customers/SuppliersSkills neededIt is essential that a Collections Specialist is able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, as this is highly beneficial in the smooth running of accounts. They must also have strong attention to detail, be highly organised and have the ability to reconcile statement of accounts.Essential Criteria:Fluent written & spoken EnglishAdvanced Excel knowledgeOutlookDesirable CriteriaExperience of Telecoms desirableOracle/Salesforce experience an advantage
