The Dow Service Centre is the international service provider for the Dow Chemical Company. More than 1,100 employees representing over fifty nationalities work here. Because of the nature of your job, you will work alongside with various departments within Dow, including supply chain planning, commercial and logistics.

Working hours
In this full-time job you will be working Monday through Friday during regular office hours.

You have both a Bachelor’s degree or higher and a good command of Spanish and English. As a Spanish-speaking customer service specialist at Dow, you will be providing customers with exemplary service and improve client-company relationships. In exchange for all of your hard work, you can expect a maximum salary of €3,200.- per month. Is this a challenge you are willing to take on? Employment agency Manpower is looking for Spanish-speaking customer service specialists for Dow in Terneuzen.

Within your role you’ll be providing customers with the answers they are waiting for. The customer comes first, whether you are simply answering questions, helping them with practical tips or solving problems. Is something unclear to you? No problem! Without any hesitation you are able to get the answer by continuing to ask after the problem and contacting various functions with Dow. That way your answer covers the customer’s question from A to Z. Your responsibilities summarized:
  • Collecting market intelligence and analyzing customer needs
  • Executing order entry processes and leading order fulfilment processes for given business
  • Overseeing customer account activity, including addressing issues and implementing solutions
  • Ensuring optimal service levels according to business priorities
  • Determining commercial strategies with customers across multiple businesses
  • Following up on orders and guiding these through the Supply Chain partners to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
  • Differentiating between Dow capabilities and customer requirements

What’s in it for you?
  • Gross salary between €2,600.- and €3,200.- per month
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses at €0.19 per kilometre and full reimbursement of Westerschelde tunnel expenses (maximum of 75 kilometres will be reimbursed)

  • Full-time job of 40 hours a week

  • An EQF level 6 or Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Excellent command of both Spanish and English (both at least C1-level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • Availability of 40 hours per week
  • A Dutch work permit that is valid for at least nine months or EU-citizenship
  • A certificate of conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) that shows you have not committed any criminal offences
  • Ability to work with new technologies and tools
  • Preferably, some experience in customer service or with SAP and CRM

Living in or near Terneuzen, Hoek, Middelburg or Bergen op Zoom is a bonus, but not mandatory!
