About the job:

In order to successfully expand its Direct Sales business in the Netherlands we are looking to hire a Digital Sales employee who is willing to make an impact and help our clients reach their financial goals. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Sales, the candidate will carry out all activities within retail/corporates in the Netherlands. The candidate will be responsible for business increase in the Direct Sales segment.

Success criteria for the position:

  • Understanding the client’s needs, goals and dreams

  • Closing leads and managing sales pipeline

  • Executing sales strategies for different client segments

  • Managing Direct Sales accounts

  • Identifying areas of potential concern for the clients and escalating through management

  • Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for onboarding and managing new clients and cross selling to existing clients

  • Participate in global training programs and keeping up to date with all the new product launches

  • Participate in internal and external events such as seminars, expo’s and roadshows

  • Making calls to new or potential clients to expand client base and ensure prompt follow up with clients

  • Participate in client events

  • Competence Requirement:

  • HBO/WO level or relevant experience

  • Affinity with and/or some knowledge about trading, investing and asset management

  • Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English

  • Excellent communication skills and proactive in following up with clients.

  • Comfortable with doing sales over the phone

  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment

  • IT competence including good Microsoft office & power-point skills

  • Personal Requirements:

  • Outgoing personality with a can do mentality and positive mindset

  • Ability to take ownership of set tasks & targets and manage sales projects

  • Articulate & ambitious

  • Professional appearance & attitude

  • Ability to work as a team player and when necessary individually
