The Manager - Indirect Tax will play a vital role in identifying and pursuing planning opportunities in the indirect tax space and partnering with the organisation to optimise supply chains and business structures.
How you will do it
As Manager Indirect Tax (Global Projects & Planning) you will identify and assess indirect tax planning opportunities, as well as delivering and supporting the implementation of VAT and other indirect tax related projects within a time frame by working together with the business and other departments. You will build a positive relationship with key business people in order to be able to work together to optimise the business structures.
Within scope of the role, you will:
- Assist the Global Indirect Tax Director to optimise the cash and minimise the VAT leakage
- Support the global ERP implementation.
- Act as a trusted business advisor in partnership with the wider tax team members.
- Assist the Global Indirect Tax Director on indirect tax controversy matters
- Conduct a continuous VAT and Customs risks assessment and propose remediation plans to be taken forward with various department
- Work with the Global Engagement Manager on request to ensure our indirect tax compliance is in line with the Company’s expectations.
What we look for
Required
Are you able to demonstrate the following?
- Tax or Accountancy Professional Qualification and/or relevant academic degree in Finance or Tax with focus on Finance and/or Accounting.
- International VAT Knowledge developed from relevant experience in the area of indirect taxes
- Experience with ERP implementation (Oracle or SAP).
- Positive demeanor with the ability to work autonomously whilst also being one with the team.
- Ability to use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions for challenges and obstacles.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, related procedures and familiarity with Customs.
- Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational and planning skills.
- Proficient oral and written English language skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Ability to work ethically and with full integrity when making time sensitive or difficult decisions.

Preferred:
We'd love you to have some corporate income tax knowledge along with the ability to speak Spanish. Though these are not crucial they will help you stand out!
The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 4000 EUR per month, plus a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
