GL VAT accountant with Spanish job in Capelle aan den IJssel at Rockwell Automation

Take ownership of correct and timely filing of compliance documents for Rockwell entities across the EMEA and LAR region in line with SOX and internal procedures;

Liaise with country VAT authorities where the submitted returns are questioned;

Maintain overview of and regularly update administrative requirements within the EMEA & Latin America Region;

Work closely with various departments to ensure the correct processing and retention of base documents;

Act as the main point of contact for the countries reviewed & supported;

Optimize VAT reporting of newly implemented business system;

Initiate and maintain process improvements;

Assist and initiate VAT related projects for the EMEA and LAR region

Min 3 to 5 years International working experience in EU VAT and accounting

Higher Educational or Academic level in Accounting and/or European VAT legislation

Excellent knowledge in Excel

Fluent both English and Spanish
