Fixed Term (September 2021 to July 2022)

Salary: £19,927 per annum pro rata (Actual: £6,539.02)

Part-time: 15 hours per week, term-time online – days negotiable

Are you a fluent French speaker with drive to support others in language learning?

A popular Brighton College is looking to appoint an individual to join its language department in the capacity of French Language Tutor for September 2021 onwards. As a fluent speaker of the language, you will support French language learners in mastering key skills in conversational sessions both in 1:1 and small groups.

Overseas trained Teachers seeking UK experience are welcome to apply, alongside experienced language assistants.

Role expectations

You will work alongside of team of Language Tutors to support the A level and International Baccalaureate (IB) French course programme – you will act as a guid and leader in conversation classes.

You will:

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be a fluent and confident speaker of the French language.
  • Have some experience in working with young people and/or in an educational setting.
  • Be hard working, organised, and keen to engage learners in the love of language.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
