RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE


1. Ophthalmic surgical products

  • Intraocular Lenses (IOL)
  • Cartridge and Injector Sets
  • Ophthalmic Viscoelastic Devices (OVD)
  • Balanced Salt Solution (BSS)
  • Any New Products added to the Company Product Range


The Role main function is to :


  • Define and execute an appropriate sales strategy including the growth of existing partnerships, exploration and identification of new partnerships to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the key stakeholders across the to achieve the sales targets through a customer-centric approach that understands and anticipates customers’ needs.
  • Act as a Business Representative/Brand Ambassador at major industry events, congress, attending key events to generate leads.
  • Define and execute appropriate sales strategies, including business development, marketing, technical, operational and sales support programmes to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Have developed an established network of contacts across the industry for direct sales and customer support
  • Supervise regional competitors in a specific market and provide reports for expansion chances/opportunities.


To achieve the main aim of this Role, the Candidate will accept and fulfil below listed responsibilities:


  • Preparing the market & competitor analysis each quarter,
  • Preparing detailed annual sales and expense budget for assigned territory
  • Performing product trainings for distributors and health care professionals (HCP),
  • Performing Dry Lab, & Wet Lab for Physicians,
  • Organizing Nurse and Counselor trainings,
  • Attending and organizing marketing events,
  • Representing company at the congresses, and at the company booths.
  • Attending to OR ,
  • Reporting will be required to present below points to his/her direct manager:


o Sales Action Plans – monthly and quarterly reports in line with Company’s standard procedures

o Sales Achievements, progress and main issues – monthly report

o Distributor Conditions – monthly report

o Brief of activities is held in the region on weekly basis

o Budget &Expense report of monthly basis


Requirements:

  • Previous surgical ophthalmology sales experience in Southern Germany.
