To strengthen our team in Germany we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Field Service Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • You would be working from home and on-site with our customers throughout Germany and surrounding countries.
  • Responsible for daily service and support of the existing customer base. The engineer also supports sales growth, service growth and customer satisfaction. Field Service Engineers are responsible for service, repair, installation, and maintenance of Pall Corporation equipment at customer sites.
  • Diagnoses system failures and resolves most cost-effective solution. Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system. May develop new customer service/product agreements. Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory.
  • Drive to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and with an emphasis on a “first time fix”
  • Understands customer perception and the business impacts, and is commercially capable of resolving customer issues
  • Achieve yearly revenue target
  • Leads by example to develop a continuous improvement culture
  • Assumes accountability around daily management and monthly KPI's
  • Drive new equipment lead generation from Service to aid Sales growth
  • Partner with sales to support existing sales initiatives to drive growth

Education and/or Experience

  • 5 + years of field service experience in a related field
  • Strong mechanical engineering / maintenance experience
  • Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical troubleshooting, theory and application
  • Team attitude to work with and support fellow FSEs and service team members.
  • Able to travel 50% - 75% of the time
  • Qualification (ideally in an engineering subject area) or Military equivalent (E-6 or greater) or equivalent work experience / military training.
  • Computer literate (especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP a plus)
  • Ability to listen to Customers, Sales, Customer Service and generate meaningful insights
  • Successfully deliver results while quickly adapting to changing priorities
  • Sales ability and Commercial experience/knowledge - will be measured by the attainment of revenue goal by individual and territory.
  • Must have the drive/motivation to take action. Able to prioritize daily activities and determine what requires immediate attention.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills. Team orientated, positive attitude and motivator.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
