Tipalti’s big vision takes us to other regions of the world where we can also help companies with their payables and spend processes. We’ve just launched successfully in the UK in September 2021 and are preparing to launch in Europe next year. 

European Global Product Strategy Manager is the person that will take us to Europe and help us to build our Product for the local market and to set up operations there. You will be a founding member of the local team which means that you will be wearing many hats. 

You are a self-starter and have a positive and can-do attitude, enjoy solving complex problems and are deeply analytical and strategic in your thinking. You have excellent communication, stakeholder management and project management skills that will help you to align the entire organisation against a common goal. You have a customer-centric attitude and appreciation for working collaboratively in a fast paced environment. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Doing market research to assess any potential Product gaps
  • Owning entire European product roadmap while working closely with the best-in-class Product Managers
  • Assessing local competitors and key values that Tipalti will be bringing to the market
  • Adjusting Pricing to reflect local value
  • Working closely with Marketing and Sales Enablement teams to adjust messaging and prepare essential materials needed for the Launch
  • Working closely with Compliance, Legal and Finance to set up local operations and policies
  • Training newly-recruited Sales and Ops teams on local Product and value proposition
  • Adjusting Product and Pricing post-Launch
  • Remaining to be a subject matter expert of the market post-Launch, helping launching new products and initiatives in the market and making sure that Product remains relevant and competitive 
  • Experience/ Background:

  • 5+ years of Product Management or Product Strategy experience for a web-based SaaS B2B product. Experience in payments or accounts payable an advantage
  • Track record of successfully introducing products to the market
  • Having a deep understanding of the payables ecosystem, including ERPs/accounting systems, competitors, partners, and technology solutions will be essential
  • Strategic thinker, analytical & data driven, with experience presenting solutions to senior-level audiences
  • Strong desire and ability to connect with customers, understand their challenges and communicate a vision for how Tipalti products can address those challenges
  • Experience taking early-stage products from concept through early go-to-market
  • Strong communication skills across verbal, written and presented content
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • An initiator and a pusher. Has the urge and ability to make things happen and to solve practical problems in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to handle a number of concurrent activities with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Languages: fluent English (must have); fluent German (must have) + either fluent Spanish or French 
  • Relevant academic degree. MBA strongly preferred
