Responsibilities/Tasks

As a junior account manager, you are eager to start your first or second job after completing your international (commercial) education. Our client will provide you with a tailor-made training period and will take the time for this. During this period, you will, amongst others, rotate in other departments. In this way, you have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the organisation so that you feel at home, and understand the processes step by step.

After the training period, you will be largely responsible for the tasks and duties below:

• You supervise orders and are partly responsible for stock levels;
• You ensure, in cooperation with the purchasing department, that product groups are properly prepared and planned;
• You have contact with the customer and ensure that the customer's needs are met to the best of your ability;
• You know how to convert our customer's needs into commercial opportunities and are always looking for opportunities to improve or expand the current range;
• You closely follow market developments and translate these into opportunities and possibilities;
• You analyse sales data and prepare presentations;
• You are involved in optimising internal processes, in consultation with other departments.

Requirements

You are a flexible person who thinks in terms of opportunities and possibilities. You have a strong personality, are decisive and customer-oriented. You are commercially and communicatively strong.

Furthermore, you have:

• A completed international commercial education;
• A maximum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience;
• The ability to communicate easily in German and English (Dutch is not a requirement for this position).

Thanks to your eagerness to learn, you are open to a new working environment where, step by step, you get to know the organisation and familiarise yourself with the function and activities. You have ambition to learn and grow. Besides, you have an inquisitive working attitude and you are a fast learner. You dare to ask questions and can function both independently and in a team.
