The Role

Ravelin is looking for a high-performing Account Executive to help us accelerate our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets within specific industry verticals, globally. Working with the Inside Sales Development team, you will be responsible for maximising our sales team potential and executing sales plans to support the achievements of Ravelin's growth objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for closing new business deals with enterprise level e-commerce merchants in defined verticals
  • Build, maintain and report on a sales pipeline sufficient to achieve/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual target
  • Capture and present merchant requirements in product enhancement and development in order for Ravelin to stay ahead of the relevance curve
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales to target specific merchant brands and build outbound buyer contact plans with on-point messaging for the specific industry vertical to expedite and scale your sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align marketing and sales efforts
  • Develop joint sales/marketing plans, lead analysis and communicate results and channel recommendations
  • Ensure forecasting and pipeline management accuracy through strict CRM compliance (we use Salesforce)


Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience to e-commerce enterprise level merchants in region
  • Ability to demonstrate sales success through winning deals and a structured approach to pipeline growth
  • Understanding of the complexities and ability to navigate a solution-focused sell to large organisations
  • Understanding of PSD2, Strong Customer Authentication, Fraud Management and Transaction Optimisation in the context of Risk & Regulation
  • Dynamic and engaging written and oral communication
  • High attention to detail with the ability to simultaneously manage competing priorities
  • Ability to build relationships and influence cross-functionally; experience coordinating and leading executive level sales meetings
  • Fluent in German
