Tata Consultancy services is one of the largest Multinational companies providing services to their client in Business & IT. In this role you will be part of the Pharma department at TCS and responsible for a new drug safety project. To support one of our long standing client’s requirement in Drug Safety we are recruiting for various positions in Pharmacovigilance in Hungary with the possibility of full time remote work.

About what you would be doing:

Operative daily routine tasks:

  • Input to high-quality and timely responses to safety queries
  • Ensure completion of basic training in case handling. Undergo additional training as required, such as writing a full narrative and PSUR comment.

Area of responsibility

  • Ensure compliance with global and local procedural documents and local implementation of client specific policies, processes and procedures
  • Enter initial and follow-up information for individual adverse event case reports of higher business value onto the global Patient Safety database, using data interpretation, coding and writing skills in accordance with the current Data Entry Process Instructions and associated SOPs and OPIs, to ensure consistency of case entry and high data quality standards

PV Team Member

Certified on Serious and Non Serious cases

  • Ensure completion of basic PV training in case handling.
  • Begin and complete the process for competency sign off on serious and non serious cases.
  • Ensure that the case is QREd before closure in case the team member is not signed off on serious cases.
  • Ensure structured data entry of non-serious adverse events onto client’s global PV safety database according to project specific SOPS and User Manual.
  • Perform quality check before closure of cases where other team member are not signed off on serious cases.

Additional tasks

  • other tasks that are related to the position and are assigned by the Supervisor including working in any other language(s) spoken at the required level, perform QRE, training sessions for new associates and act as mentor.


You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • 0-2 years of PV Case Processing experience.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Graduate in Pharmacy or Life-Science.


  • Relevant qualification (Qualified to degree level in life sciences or an appropriate healthcare or pharmaceutical industry background)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently, guided by procedures, with appropriate support
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good time management
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to prioritize schedule and organize
  • Attention to detail.
