Anglepoint is seeking a Manager of SAM Services – Specialty Publishers to join our SAM Service Delivery (SSD) Team.

The Specialty Licensing Team will specialize in customer engagements involving Tier 2 software publishers (e.g. Quest, Micro Focus, Informatica, Redhat, CA, Cisco, Autodesk, amongst others). The ideal candidate must have licensing and extensive Software Asset Management (SAM) experience. 

Required Location: Germany

What you’ll do:

  • Assist the Specialty Licensing (SL) Directors to manage the practice within SSD
  • Consult Anglepoint’s customers on Specialty Licensed (Tier 2) publishers
  • Optimize and drive standardization of customer responsibilities for entitlement evidence and data discovery/collection process 
  • Plan and perform software asset management, software license, and other reviews for Anglepoint’s clients to ensure compliance with associated software licenses/other agreements, contractual terms, and general licensing policies, as necessary
  • Formulate, QA, communicate, and enforce high-quality deliverables
  • Understand and interpret data to help clients plan commercial and financial elements & strategize their future software growth
  • Provide trending savings, cost avoidance and risk per Specialty Publishers (Tier 2)
  • Monitor progress and raise any issues during customer engagements to directors
  • Manage multiple engagements simultaneously and appropriately prioritize tasks within the SL team
  • Work with the SL team to determine resourcing strategies from the Business Development Team
  • Understand the relationship between the client and its extended enterprise, customer base, and / or supply chain
  • Travel both domestically and internationally

What you’ll bring:

  • 7+ years of licensing experience with specialty publishers 
  • Experience conducting SAM reviews and License Audit engagements
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Project Management Certifications desirable
  • Ability to understand financial modeling and able to drive business strategy for clients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing and developing others
  • Manage Matrix team structure
  • Experience utilizing and managing SAM tools including, but not limited to Snow LM, Flexera One, Aspera SmartTrack & ServiceNow SAM Professional
  • Experience with data analysis tools including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Access, & SQL
  • Experience with presentation software including, but not limited to, Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, research, organizational, issue identification, prioritization, resolution and report writing skills
  • Responsible, accountable, & proactive self-starter and self-learner
  • Willing to work across multiple time-zones as part of a global team
  • Results-oriented and success-driven
  • Flexible & adaptable in a dynamic team environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
