What you will do

As Talent Acquisition Marketing & Employer Branding Lead you will be responsible for developing and activating Johnson Control’s talent brand and attraction programs across all EMEA countries. To help position us as an employer of choice and help us to attract great candidates, whether they are technicians, sales engineers, customer service advisors or supply chain specialists.

You will be the key go-to person for talent attraction marketing and employer branding in EMEA Talent Acquisition. Partnering with our 5 Regional Managers across the region (31 countries, 14 languages, averaging between 3000-4000 hires per year), Global TA Brand Lead and Social Media Manger (business) to find opportunities to build our share of voice, followers and connect the story with through the line (TTL) campaigns.

How you will do it

  • Working closely with key partners to develop recruitment marketing strategy, using insights to anticipate future needs.
  • Build a strategy, plan and mange execution of campaigns & content calendar to attract qualified candidates for critical roles.
  • Develop compelling content that illustrates our life at work & reflect our values and culture (for example, blog posts, videos and infographics) that can be shared by in country recruitment teams & employees.
  • Modernize our messaging, you will understand the candidate journey and where in the recruitment funnel social has the greatest impact and spot the gaps where social media can add real value.
  • Drive EMEA talent content for JCI on social channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Glassdoor - bringing proposals to budget holders, developing and driving talent campaigns.
  • Constantly reviewing the social media ecosystem, driving fresh ideas for content and recommending new channels.
  • Act as the recruitment brand guardian for talent attraction communications, digital assets and marketing collateral for social media, jobs boards, talent attraction events and talent branding to ensure consistency in messaging and brand.
  • Own and drive internal projects on the embedding of our EVP (Employee Value Proposition) into our attraction strategy and delivering groundbreaking attraction campaigns throughout the year.
  • Handle the development and distribution of recruitment collateral for campaigns, regional and national careers events and virtual events.
  • Identify, build and lead a community of internal influencers that will contribute to the external positive brand amplification.
  • Work collaboratively and build positive relationships within the Johnson Controls Talent Acquisition function, central marketing teams to improve Johnson Controls’ visibility in key recruiting markets.
  • Own and develop metrics for activity on all EMEA recruitment marketing with annual goal setting, quarterly QBRs and monthly reporting.
  • Track and analyze resource spend – demonstrating return on investment and the case for future funding

  • Proven experience in a marketing role – recruitment marketing, employer brand, internal communication.
  • Previous experience of planning & delivering campaign strategies across different target segments in multiple markets and variety of channels.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and good storytelling abilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media channels and standard methodologies, including market and competitive trends.
  • Creative problem solver with a strong passion for crafting content that stands out in the news feed and knows how to tailor the content for each social media platform, who can come up with original, highly shareable ideas.
  • Ability to interpret, prioritise and deliver actions with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop relationships to positively influence resourcing conversations.
  • Exemplary project management and prioritisation skills.
  • An analytical approach and the ability to get the data you need and present it in a way that convinces and reassures your partners.
  • Fluency in English (business/professional)


  • Knowledge of recruiting channels, job boards, and employer brand sites that support hiring (i.e. LinkedIn, Google Analytics).
  • Experience of working for an organisation with a target audience that is majority field based is an advantage.
  • Multilingual – German, French, Spanish

If you are relocating to Bratislava to join Johnson Controls, you will be eligible to receive a housing allowance to help you setup your new life in Slovakia.

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 2300 EUR per month, plus a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
