Johnson Controls increases its cybersecurity resources and capabilities to adapt to the cybersecurity threat landscape. This position support engineering, implementing, administrating, and monitoring security platforms for the protection of on-premise and cloud compute resources.

How you will do it

• Administer Carbon Black endpoint detection and response, Azure Security Center, Google Security Command Center, O365 security portal, Microsoft Endpoint Management Security Firewall policies, and seek improvements on a continuous basis
• Develop policies that minimize the threat surface while allowing business applications to function accurately
• Collaborate with IT security teams to develop and implement automation using platform APIs and XSOAR capabilities
• Report possible threats or software issues, research weaknesses and find ways to counter them
• Participate in security agent and sensor testing and deployment
• Assist fellow employees with cybersecurity, software, hardware, or IT needs
• Participate in special projects as the need arises
• Function as the Subject Matter Expert on Carbon Black capabilities for the Security Operations Center

What we look for

Required

• Extensive experience in administering Linux and VMware Carbon Black including tuning platform policies using TAU-TIN recommendations
• Know-how on administering cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS)
• Background in information security operations, incident handling, and vulnerability management
• Involvement with SIEM (Splunk) dashboard creation
• Experience in performing security/vulnerability reviews of Windows or Linux operating systems
• Highly motivated person with the ability to self-start, prioritize, multi-task and work in a distributed team setting
• Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and personal integrity in the exercise of duties

Preferred

• University education in computer engineering, computer security or computer field
• Certifications: Microsoft, Linux, CISSP, CISM, CISA, GCIH, GIAC, GCFE, GCFA, CEH, CCNA, CCNA Security, EnCE, FTK

Overview in the following areas:

• Definition and implementation of strategic information security plans
• Windows operating systems and expertise in preventing “Living off the Land” techniques
• Security operations concepts such as perimeter defence, BYOD management, data loss protection, insider threat, kill chain analysis, risk assessment and security metrics
• Threat Intelligence and Threat Profiling
• Monitoring, detecting, and participating in response efforts to advanced persistent threats
• Open source and commercial security management tools
• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)/ Intrusion Protection Systems (IPS) and other network defence security tools
• Enterprise anti-virus/malware solutions, virus outbreak management, and differentiation of virus activity from directed attack patterns
• Network security methodologies, tactics, techniques and procedures
• Network security architecture, understanding of the TCP/IP protocol, and remote access security techniques/products
• Regulatory compliance requirements (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, FISMA, SOX)
• National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 2000 EUR per month, plus a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
