Anglepoint is seeking an Software Asset Manager for our SAM Service Delivery team. The ideal candidate must have licensing and Software Asset Management (SAM) consulting experience. 

Preferred Location: Germany

What you’ll do:

  • Lead end-to-end engagements with cross-discipline team members to ensure optimal productivity and timely completion
  • Prepare and present regular status updates to the Steering Committee / executive sponsors by appropriately summarizing relevant information
  • Monitor progress and act as primary escalation point for any issues during the engagement
  • Formulate, communicate, and enforce high-quality deliverables
  • Plan and perform software asset management, software license, and other reviews for Anglepoint’s clients to ensure compliance with associated software licenses/other agreements, contractual terms, and general licensing policies, as necessary
  • Understand and interpret the data in order to help clients plan commercial and financial elements & strategize their future software growth
  • Manage multiple engagements at once and appropriately prioritize tasks
  • Build strong business relationships with Fortune 500 clients
  • Liaise with Business Development to maintain positive client experiences and strengthen partnerships, with the ultimate goal of client retention
  • Understand the relationship between the client and its extended enterprise, customer base, and/or supply chain
  • Develop detailed and comprehensive data analysis skills
  • Travel both domestically and internationally

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of licensing experience
  • Experience conducting SAM reviews and License Audit engagements
  • Experience utilizing and managing SAM tools including, but not limited to Snow LM, FlexNet Manager Suite, Aspera SmartTrack & ServiceNow SAM
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Project Management Certifications desirable
  • Ability to understand financial modeling and able to drive business strategy for clients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing and developing others
  • Experience with data analysis tools including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Access, & SQL
  • Experience with presentation software including, but not limited to, Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, research, organizational, issue identification, prioritization, resolution and report writing skills
  • Demonstrated passion for:
