About The Role

An Account Executive will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be passionate about our products and services and comfortable making dozens of contacts per day, working with channel partners on exploring all kinds of exciting opportunities, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Nurture accounts to maintain relationships and upsell products & services
  • Perform effective online demos of Soracom products and services to a wide variety of prospects
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Route large opportunities to the appropriate sales team members for further development and closure
  • Expand and maintain your database of prospects within the territories you are in charge of
  • Work with Sales Development, Partnerships and Marketing teams to build pipelines and close deals

Requirements

Key Requirements
  • 3+ years of proven experience selling technical SaaS B2B products as inside sales or equivalent roles
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software (SFDC) and account management systems
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs
  • Proficient in corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Strong video conference presence and experience engaging in dozens of meetings per day
  • Prioritising, time management, and organisational skills
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience working in a tech start-up like environment
  • Belief that teams succeed more when they work together and mutual respect with your coworkers

  • Experience working in IoT ecosystem
  • Experience working remotely in a multicultural environment

Location
  • Fully remote work with base in UK, Germany and France preferred
