CPM International is a global leader in contact centre and digital marketing solutions with a proven track record of increasing sales and brand awareness for our clients.

We're currently looking for an HR Technician to join our international and multitalented HR Team in Barcelona.

This is a temporary role to cover a leave of absence; and a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates in Labor Relations/Human Resources, who are passionate about people, and looking to develop their skills, and acquire new ones, in the HR department of an International company.



As an HR Technician, you will:

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR department.
  • Compile and update employee records and documentation.
  • Prepare and deliver contractual documentation (new employee, renewals, contract extensions and changes) and other HR related documents
  • Manage the full cycle of the employee from an HR perspective both internally and externally by informing to the competent authorities when necessary (absences, sick leaves, paternities, maternities, excedencias, other types of leaves, contract terminations, change of conditions)
  • Perform modifications in the Social Security system and the HR system as required, including new hires, terminations, contract extensions, and working conditions modifications (changes in schedule, salary, role, etc)
  • Manage employee HR related enquiries, requests and issues following internal processes and regulations, and liaising with other departments as needed in order to provide a positive employee experience
  • Advice managers and other internal stakeholders on labour and legal matters and procedures

Requirements



Our ideal HR Technician would be:

  • Fluent in Spanish (minimum C2/bilingual level) and an excellent level of English, both spoken and written
  • Living in Barcelona, or able to commute - the role is office based however you will be able to work from home 2-3 days per week
  • Degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Law or similar, studied at a Spanish University
  • Good knowledge of the Spanish Labor Law
  • Some previous experience working in an HR team , performing modifications in the Spanish Social Security System, as well as using HR systems (knowledge of Meta4 would be ideal but it's not a must)
  • Good organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize demands
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills: must display patience, empathy, and helpfulness at all times
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Initiative to learn and grow professionally

Benefits

  • Start date: late April / early May 2023
  • Competitive salary
  • Temporary contract to cover a leave of absence, of approx. 6 months
  • Full time, Monday to Friday rotating between two schedule options: 8am to 4pm, or 9am to 6pm (1h lunch) depending on the week
  • Working model: hybrid. The role is office based however you will be able to work from home 2-3 days per week
