Technical Subject Matter Expert; Azure Active Directory
The Technical SME; Azure Active Directory provide technical enablement to clients deploying Azure AD workloads and advise clients on Microsoft’s Identity best practices.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers over the phone, email and messaging platforms to guide them through SSO deployments.
  • Communicate in a clear and understandable manner with clients, using the appropriate level of technical language
  • Train teams on platforms and associated technologies
  • Own problems through to resolution
  • Appropriately communicate the business value of appropriate cloud technologies and facilitate the successful assessment of the platform
  • Work with clients around existing support programs to build roadmap and facilitate development of applications
  • Communicating information about client conversations accurately and escalating to the appropriate levels where appropriate
  • Mentor other members of the team
  • Required Qualifications:

  • 4-year Bachelor’s Degree required (in computer science or technology preferred)
  • 3+ years of Cloud experience working with Azure
  • Expertise in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory identities
  • Knowledge of Azure B2C, B2B, MFA, SSO and Conditional Access
  • Cloud Application Management and configuration
  • Expertise with full Microsoft stack including AD, DHCP, GPO, DNS, DFS Namespace
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell (scripting / automation)
  • Other Technical Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of the following: hybrid identity implementationsOktaOAuth, OpenID, and SAMLMicrosoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Networking, Security
  • Troubleshooting skills in the following: AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services) or other identity providersDirSync, AADSync or AAD Connect
  • Familiar with infrastructure strategy: Hybrid, Public and Private
  • Desired Azure Certifications ( SC-300, AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304, AZ-500, MS-500 )
  • Other qualities we look for:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to have technical conversations at a Director Level regarding the appropriate technologies for the proposed solution
  • The ability to learn quickly and retain and apply knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and a high level of integrity.
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to multi-task effectively
  • Business Proficiency in German and English is required.
