Description

ActioNet has an opportunity for a District Helpdesk Manager requiring a US Secret Level clearance located in Europe. who will work with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.

Summary:

Has overall responsibility for help desk operations associated with the identification, prioritization and resolution of reported problems. Ensures that all phases of help desk support are properly coordinated, monitored, logged, tracked and resolved appropriately. May maintain responsibility for development, maintenance and integrity of help desk software. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Supervises Tier 1 Site Technicians. Requires 3 years of experience in the field.

Basic Qualifications:

Active Secret Clearance

Certifications required: DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II Security + CE

3 years of experience working in Tier 1 & 2 IT Service Management DoD environment.

Outstanding writing and speaking skills are strongly desired.

Very strong customer relations skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Past experience managing OCONUS projects in Europe and/or Asia-Pacific.

Experience with ITIL / IT Service Management. ITIL v3 Foundations certification a plus.

Experience managing Tier’s 1 and 2 end user support projects.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline with proven, current and relevant experience in IT / Cyber service delivery.

Substitution: 5 years working in a DoD ITSM environment.
