Job Description

We are looking for French speakers to join our European Shared Services team. These roles will be based in our Sheffield office, however will support and work closely with our teams across our European offices. This can be an opportunity for over the summer months.

About the team:

The European Shared Services team in Sheffield supports the wider immigration teams in our European offices remotely. They are an extremely friendly and supportive team to join with people of all ages and backgrounds and multiple languages being spoken.

About the role:
The Administrator helps to provide exceptional levels of business support to a wide range of clients by supporting European offices and the Associates and Consultants in an administrative capacity. They are exposed to a full range of immigration processes and administrative tasks including:

  • Draft immigration applications in French
  • Draft support letters
  • Maintain Fragomen’s database and client folders up to date
  • Save and upload case related documents and government decisions onto Fragomen’s database
  • Identify embassies / consulates in charge for a specific assignee
  • Draft emails to provide updates on all immigration matters
  • Check appointment availability at embassy / consulate
  • Participate in case audits
  • Rename and downsize documents, request company set up
  • Create client care letters
  • Take on any additional projects as required

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have strong administrative and data entry skills, this can be taken from either previous work experience or educational background. You will be comfortable working in a team with excellent communication skills. These roles require a high level of French language, ideally C level, but at least B2.

Also required:

  • Ability to work flexibly and accurately in a fast paced environment
  • Uses communication skills to achieve objective
  • Being confident in verbal communication
  • Demonstrate exceptional planning and time management skills with an ability to multi-task.
  • Be proactive and able to act under instruction with limited supervision
  • Be able to plan workload, meet deadlines and priorities
  • Ensures work completed is accurate, to a high quality and follows standard layouts
  • Completes tasks within agreed time-frames and in line with expectations
  • Implement effective processes to manage workflow and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates proficiency in word processing, Internet and email systems

Fragomen in Sheffield:

Our Sheffield office is based in the city centre with the added bonus of free on-site parking, as well as several public transport links close by. The office has approximately 150 people working collaboratively and creating a dynamic, positive environment with over 20 different languages being spoken.

As the UK moves through lockdown and Fragomen moves out of a fully working from home model, a regular attendance in the office will be required in this role. The Firm is however transitioning towards an agile working approach, which incorporates a blend of in-person attendance as well as working from home – our aim being to fully leverage our remote working technology and provide a balance for our people in the way that they work.
