A global market-leading bio-pharmaceutical company is currently looking for a German speaking HR Associate to work within the HR Department based in Stockley Park.

This position is a component of a dynamic HR Shared Services team that oversees the day-to-day administration of preboarding and onboarding procedures. It acts as the primary liaison for the Talent Acquisition team in the EMEA region. Collaboration and assistance for colleagues across various global regions will also be integral. This role is a 6-month fixed-term contract with a potential to be extended. You will require you to work from the office in Stockley Park 3 days per week and 2 days from home.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for evaluating and addressing escalated and intricate HR-related inquiries, serving as a connection point for local HR, COEs, and key stakeholders.
  • Act as an escalation resource for tier one queries, addressing inquiries from employees, managers, executives, and HR peers about HR protocols, processes, and policies, ensuring consistency across the globe with local relevance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to candidates and hiring managers throughout the candidate offer and onboarding phases.
  • Review and validate offer details submitted by the recruitment team to ensure precision before initiating the approval procedure.
  • Generate offer letters primarily for hires within the EMEA region, covering external hires, conversions, rehires, and internal movements for open positions.
  • Support in organizing and managing large-scale staffing events.
  • Oversee the background check and adverse action process, interpreting information and assessing supporting documentation.
  • Act as the primary contact point with the background check vendor.
  • Initiate immigration and relocation procedures in collaboration with respective vendors.
  • Address candidate issues encountered during the offer/onboarding process in Workday.
  • Develop expertise in the offer and onboarding processes not only within Workday but also beyond the system.
  • Run routine reports and utilize data to guide operations.
  • Proactively maintain accurate and up-to-date HR data in the global HR System; input, update, and reconcile data as necessary to ensure its accuracy and currency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the HR knowledge base to facilitate swift access for employees.
  • Enable easy access to answers through self-service for employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate with other regional HRSS teams to ensure consistency and share knowledge.
  • Collaborate with essential stakeholders like Managers, HRBPs, People Technology, Mobility, Benefits, and Payroll to address data-related concerns.
  • Conduct testing on upcoming HR Workday enhancements before their widespread implementation.
  • Proactively pinpoint opportunities for enhancing HR procedures and documentation.
  • Engage in specialized HR projects as directed by the HR Shared Services team leader.
  • Take the lead in documenting, streamlining, and standardising HR business processes tailored to the EMEA region.

Profile:

  • Required to be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Substantial experience in HR or HR Shared Services
  • Proficiency in utilizing HR Systems, particularly Workday's Data Management features
  • Essential proficiency in verbal, written, interpersonal, and telephone communication
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Desirable experience with case management tools, notably ServiceNow
  • At least two years of experience managing HR inquiries for TA Operations administration
  • HR Qualification advantageous (not mandatory)
