The business analytics team is responsible for business performance reporting and advanced data analytics across Operations Europe. The analyst will have a very strong business acumen balanced with data analytics capability. You will work collaboratively with all of the operations functional business teams to build powerful and insightful data analytics solutions. These solutions play a highly valuable role in the supply chain end to end from manufacturing through to delivery of our products into the hands of customers. The role will be highly visible within the EMEIA region and globally requiring the candidate to interact with executives. Finally, this person will play a critical role in defining operations longer term strategy in data science and advanced analytics.

• Implement the business strategy and vision around reporting and data capabilities required to support business management and executive decision making
• Partner with worldwide Decision Support, BPR (Business Process Reengineering), RAD (Rapid Application Development) & IS&T (Information Systems & Technology) teams to design, develop and drive implementation of the business vision and systems/tools required to support reporting, data analytics and information delivery 
• Work as part of a team of data analysts and developers focused on providing the information needed to manage business
• Liaise with other organizations on data governance, reporting standards, data quality, reporting tools, hierarchy management and KPI’s
• Develop analytical insights in our Ops data set and determine assignable actions.

• 4+ years experience building enterprise level applications on large-scale distributed systems
• Understanding of fundamentals of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and problem solving
• Programming experience in building high quality software. Proficiency in at-least one of the following programming languages - Python, Scala, PHP or Java.
• Cloud technology experience on platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
• Hands-on experience in design and development of cloud-based applications ( including large scale compute services, database services, APIs, ETL such as Airflow, Nifi, Talend.)
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Software Engineering processes, including test driven development
• Passionate about data and its nuances and curious about the underlying business context
• Strong SQL experience and proficient with SQL/NoSQL Data-warehouses such as Snowflake, Singlestore, Oracle, Mysql, Mongodb
• Good Data Visualisation experience with the likes of Tableau, Thoughtspot, Looker, PowerBI, etc.
• Knowledge of Big Data Processing and Systems with Apps such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
• Understanding of ML and OR concepts and models.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
