As a member of the Content Team and reporting directly to the Sportsbook Content Manager, we are looking for a thorough, accurate and quality-driven Finnish Sportsbook Content Writer and Translator. We seek someone who can produce compelling written content daily for our websites.

Working closely with Product, SEO and CRM teams, the successful candidate will produce and localise Finnish content, create concepts and develop high-quality messaging. 

Overview of the daily tasks:

• Writing campaign/news content intended for localisations.
• Localising and writing campaign/news content about various sports.
• Localising and writing SEO-optimised info guides and articles.
• Localising and publishing short-form and long-form article content.
• Optimising existing web page content to assist the company’s overarching SEO efforts.
• Uploading content to our Back-Office Systems.
• Assisting with marketing efforts when needed

Minimum qualifications required:

• Native command of Finnish.
• Writing campaign/news content intended for localisation.
• At least two years of experience in a Sportsbook role within the iGaming industry.
• A keen interest in a wide range of sports.
• Good knowledge of sportsbook betting.
• The ability to write in Finnish clearly and concisely with a rich vocabulary.
• Engaging writing style focused on driving retention and conversion.
• Possess at least a basic understanding of SEO concepts and practices.
• Knowledge of basic HTML - linking, lists, text formatting, etc.
• Good organisation and documentation skills.Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Multitasking on several different applications simultaneously

Considerable advantages:

• In-depth knowledge of international football and ice hockey.
• Knowledge about the Finnish betting industry, including player interests and behaviour.
• Some availability outside of standard office hours, as some irregular working hours might be required from time to time.
• Familiarity with Markdown, StackEdit, Cockpit, Jira
• Quick learner with new technologies and programs.
• Knowledge and experience working with Markdown.
• Advanced SEO knowledge
