A nursing home in Dublin North, Balbriggan has an opportunity for an Assistant Director of Nursing, ADON to support the management Team.

This is an opportunity for an ADON to join a Balbriggan team who provide a superbly designed, purpose built nursing home located in Balbriggan. The expansive sea views, gardens and local playground provide an enviable location.

Responsibilities:

Making a positive difference and enhancing our client's daily lives.
Experience working as a Nurse including dementia care.
Supporting with all duties including Allocation/Roster/Care Plan/Client Family Member queries/Handling Report to Management.
Supporting Nurses and ADONs
Be kind, caring, empathetic and trustworthy with a genuine interest to help others.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Nursing Qualification & Valid NMBI Pin.
Must be able to provide 2 valid and contactable references
Good knowledge of HIQA requirements.

Requirements

Current NMBI Registration
EU Citizens Only
Previous management/supervisory experience
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Team player
Genuine interest in working with our Client group
Certification of Garda Vetting Unit clearance
Care for the Elderly experience / qualification
