We are a large Language Services company working with Public and Private Sector clients all across the UK. We help limited English-speaking foreign nationals access critical services, such as medical services, by providing interpreters that speak their language.

About the role
The interpreting role is designed to support Polish nationals living in the UK to access basic vital services – medical, financial and other administrative functions. We are looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our team! We're currently recruiting for interpreters who have excellent English and Polish language skills. We offer all the required training and support to excel in the Interpreting community and create a career in the field.

Key Responsibilities
The role is to provide telephone and/or video interpreting for limited English speakers in the UK, for example Polish nationals, to help them access critical services such as medical, council or legal.

Interpreting and communication must be effective and accurate. This is a highly rewarding job role that will challenge your temperament, your ability to think on your feet, and your linguistic skills.
In this role you will experience a diverse and varied number of situations in which you might interpret, including but not limited to:

· Medical appointments

· Meetings with public officials 

· Legal matters and Immigration meetings

· Social Services

· Child Protection appointments

We are looking for...

· Fluency in English & Polish languages

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Attention to detail

· Pro-active and self-motivated

· Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook

· Experience within a customer service / office-based role is advantageous

· Organises own time effectively

· Strong interpersonal skills, like active listening and empathy

· Team Player

To apply for this role you must be able to speak English proficiently. During registration, we will ask you to prove your English language skills by either providing a relevant qualification ( e.g. IELTS or CEFR) or we will conduct a language assessment with you.
