We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our client as a Purchasing Project Manager. The Purchasing Project Manager will play a vital role in their operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and requirements
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to ensure optimal sourcing and negotiate contracts with suppliers
• Manage the procurement process, including requests for proposals, bid evaluations, and contract administration
• Monitor and assess supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Continuously improve procurement processes and systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the retail industry
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends
• Proficient in using procurement software and systems
• Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Solid understanding of risk management and compliance
• Proven track record of successfully managing procurement projects from start to finish
• Fluent in English and in German
